Crystal (Aroma)
Typical Profile: Alpha Acids 4.0% - 7.0% - Beta Acids 5.0% - 8.0% - Total Oil 0.8 – 2.1 ml/100g
Aroma Characteristics: Spicy and black pepper notes with hints of citrus and apricot give Michigan Grown Crystal a unique
sensory that differs from Pacific Northwest Crystal. This hop’s aroma is a lot more present in the brew, adding new
character to your lighter lagers and blonde ales.
Typical Beers: Light Lagers, Golden Ales, Pilsners, Belgian Ales, Dopplebocks, Brown Ales, IPAs, Pale Ales, Stouts, Alts,
Kolschs, ESBs.

Aroma Characteristics: Later additions and dry hopping adds a strong aroma of fruit punch to the brew. This hop thrives as
an aroma hop.

Aroma Characteristics: Earthy tea-like aroma comes from this subtle versatile hop. This early season variety is a solid
replacement for UK Fuggle. Willamette grows extremely well in Michigan.
